It still shows up on my devices list as currently connected but it seems fairly obvious it isn't. I did a system restore to last night to see if it would help, and the mouse still doesnt work. I then removed the device and attempted to add it afterwards, but the mouse wasn't being detected at all. It originally showed up on my bluetooth devices when it wasn't working, and bluetooth said it was connected fine. I simply turned off the mouse and when I came back later and turned it on it was no longer working. I've been using it fine for about 2 weeks now, but today it just decided to stop working. The mouse I'm attempting to connect is a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. Hi, I'm currently using an HP envy 15 Notebook PC and have just recently encountered a problem with my bluetooth (whether its the device or the laptop, I'm not sure). I have tried adding a different bluetooth mouse (same model), with the same results. I have replaced the battery on the off-chance that was the problem.

I have tried removing and adding the mouse several times, pressing the connect button, turning the mouse on and off, and rebooting the laptop. I have a z5000 Bluetooth mouse that seems to add successfully to my new ZBook 15 with Windows 7, but the cursor on screen doesn't respond with any movement or button presses.
